We did the PR for POP/LOVE magazine and worked closely with Editor Katie Grand
In September I began my most exciting placement yet, with London's most prestigious and exclusive PR company - Mandi Lennard Publicity.
Being only my boss, Mandi and another coworker, Abby and I in the office, I was given alot of responsibility and exposure to the fashion scene of both London and Paris.
I worked as a junior publicist with famous clients - Pop/LOVE magazine, Gareth Pugh, House of Holland, Roksanda Ilincic, Pam Hogg, Cassette Playa, Danielle Scutt, hatter Nasir Mazhar, Nova Dando, and Aitor Throup.
Very much different than my experience at 15 Minutes PR, Abby and I would work through hundreds of sample requests daily in addition to organizing promotional parties (i.e. the launch of LOVE magazine on Valentines Day at Dover Street Market) . We assisted in styling for celebrities such as Beyonce, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kanye West, Yeah Yeah Yeah's, Rihanna, Lily Allen, etc as well as respected magazines as Italian Vogue, Interview, W, Paper, and more.
I organized and worked at all the London Fashion Week shows for our clients as well as Gareth Pugh's Menswear and Womenswear shows in Paris.
In Paris our company also did the sales for Gareth Pugh, working with clients such as Saks 5th Avenue, Selfridges, Bergdorf Goodman, etc. in Rick Owen's showroom. Working in the showroom was an enriching experience as I learned first hand how to do sales and mix with the elite and celebrities of fashion.
